This site started as an idea in relation to the threat of AI - I saw the need for a place where artists could look to, to source out any potential help with legal agencies and such that could assist them.
Obviously, that meant a half yearly event that allowed artists to show up, pool resources and update on their needs, immediate concerns and establish new connections.
I started off wanting to find the right person to manage this through my artists friends. But since everyone was busy, Brezie - my amazing producer/artist friend suggested I should just take the wheels.
I felt like this was too much out of my wheelhouse - get it? Haha But it excited me about connecting people - it's one of the 3 focuses of my podcast slogan...so I thought it wouldn't hurt to start the process until I can pass it on.
And here we are, welcoming fresh artists who don't know where to go, established artists wanting to connect with other artists they didn't know.
We even have pages to include venues that want to find and showcase new talents. Perhaps companies like merch brands, instrument brands that have the best deals!

This form isn't connected to a mailing list service yet — hook it up to something like Mailchimp or a Google Form to start collecting signups.

Outlaw Suno App:While it gives a lot of people without musical skills musical freedom, the problem lies with how much it copies existing music rather than actual sampling (there is a key difference, legally as you know).
There is a known case where in Germany they used a generic, short line from an old disco band. Ran it through the app 100 times in a row and it copied the original song. Beat for beat, line for line.
Luckily, it was a win for the artists in this court case.
Top app established by two artists from the US that combines all factors and areas of a song producing process into one place. Your voice memos, random lyrics, APRA AMCOS IP...the app designed to stop the last minute scramble to get all your song details together before releasing it.

Currently the project is funded just by myself. So all the food and drinks are out of my own pocket.
